The Curriculum at Dream Big Little One

The curriculum is the experience that we give the children whilst they are with us here at Dream Big Little One. It is built around our “Magic 7” curricular goals. These goals are in line with the Early Years reforms in 2021. They help and support our little ones to learn and develop effectively.

Each of our Magic 7 goals have been broken down into milestones so that we can see and share the progress that is being made.

The Core Curriculum

This creates the road, the journey that children will take during their time at your nursery

Now that this road is laid out, we think about how we take the children from the start to the finish!

Our staff knowledge of everything at the core is key to ensuring children travel really well along the road and get to the finish line with everything they need to know and do, ready for school!

Knowledge and Skills

We focus on both here at Dream Big Little One. We make sure that our little ones know and remember more, but we also plan lots of activities so that they can learn new skills and practice them.

Reflect and Review

Our team reflect and review constantly. Staff check how they are helping and supporting your little ones so that they can reach their milestones.

As cheesy as it sounds but Dream Big Little One isn’t just a nursery, it genuinely feels like a little family! I will forever be grateful for everything the nursery has done for me & Amelia and the thought of Amelia leaving next year breaks my heart!!

Dream Big Little One are the best! They are always welcoming and make Emmie so happy. She’s always really excited for the extra things going on, like Jo Jingles coming in. She’s a big character and they keep up with her demands and help her grow everyday, while keeping me up to date daily with everything she’s been up to. We would be truly lost without them.

I pick my granddaughter up on a Thursday, she is happy and coming on so well, the staff are engaging and it’s obvious to all they enjoy their jobs. I admire their ethos; they have given her the best start for her next journey to primary school.

What an amazing bunch of staff. From management to domestics. Each and every one of them are dedicated to their job, always going above and beyond for every child and parent. Such a home from home feel with plenty of fun and engaging activities for all the children. I have viewed many nearby nurseries and this one is by far the best.
